Children's Author Cathy Finch White was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. She later moved to Tampa, Fl to attend school at Tampa College. After years of working in the medical field, White began pursuing a career in business management and sales.
White has always been a strong believer in the idea that education starts at home. She taught her three children the joy of reading with constant visits to the library and bookstores. After the birth of her grandson, White worried about a generation of children who were only interested in video games and movies. She set a goal of reaching out to children and teaching them that reading is fun.
White's first book, Anna Learns to Play the Violin, was released in September 2009. Her first award-winning book, Adam and Seymour, was released in 2010 with Bobby's Faith shortly after. White's second award-winning and most popular book, Scary Bully, was released in 2014.
White's unique style of illustration and writing has quickly launched her into a well-known name within communities. She has reached households around the nation with stories of valuable life lessons.
Scary Bully has recently been recognized as a leading title within Hillsborough County's Public School systems and is now available at your local Hillsborough County Public Library, Barnes and Nobles, Inkwood Books in Tampa, FL and Amazon.com.
